Privacy Policy

How Randalls collects, uses and protects your information across our website, venues and Randalls Rewards.

This policy explains how Randalls Limited ("we", "us", "our"), of Clare Street, St Helier, Jersey, JE2 3XE, collects, uses and safeguards personal information gathered through corp.randalls.je, our venue websites, in-venue bookings, gift cards and Randalls Rewards. Randalls operates 22 pubs, restaurants and social houses across Jersey.

What information we collect

We collect information you give us directly — including your name, date of birth, email address, phone number, address and postcode — when you make a booking, join Randalls Rewards, buy a gift card, sign up to a newsletter or contact us with an enquiry. We also collect usage data automatically, such as pages visited and general device/browser information, via cookies and analytics tools. Gift card payments are processed by our payment provider, Opayo; your card details are tokenised at checkout and are never stored on our own servers.

How we use your information

We use your information to process bookings, gift card purchases and enquiries, administer your Randalls Rewards account and points balance, retain CCTV footage from our venues for security purposes, send marketing communications where you have opted in, and to understand and improve how visitors use our website. Our legal basis is generally our legitimate interests in running Randalls, or performance of a contract with you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Cookies

We use cookies to keep the site working correctly and to understand how it's used. You can control or disable cookies at any time through your browser settings; doing so may affect some site functionality, such as staying logged in to Randalls Rewards.

Sharing your information

We do not share your personal information with any other organisation except with your explicit agreement, or where we're required to by law. Where we do share information, it's with trusted service providers who help us run our business — for example booking and table-management systems, our payment processor Opayo, email delivery and website hosting — solely so they can provide those services to us, and under appropriate confidentiality terms.

How long we keep your information

We keep contract-related records (such as bookings and gift card purchases) for 10 years, in line with Jersey's statute of limitations. Randalls Rewards account data is kept for 12 months following your last use of the scheme. CCTV footage is retained for 30 days. Gift cards are valid for redemption for 24 months from the date of purchase. Beyond these periods, information is kept only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for, or as required by law, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights

Under Jersey's Data Protection (Jersey) Law 2018, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request a correction or deletion, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw marketing consent at any time — email optout@randalls.je to opt out of marketing. You also have the right to complain to the Jersey Office of the Information Commissioner (jerseyoic.org) if you're unhappy with how we've handled your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The latest version will always be available on this page.
