Live music to round the weekend off. Cheryl Balzan plays from 2:00 pm on the 6th, 20th & 27th September, the kind of easy afternoon soundtrack that pairs well with a long lunch, a roast and another round. Drop in, settle in, stay as long as you like.

We opened the summer with a party and we are closing it the same way. Live music from 3pm until late, BBQ firing up at 5.30pm and a special menu for the night.The main kitchen is closed this evening, so it is BBQ and the party menu only.
Drinks
There's a particular pleasure to a village pub at the end of the working day, and The Royal handles that hour as well as anywhere on the island. The new spritz menu makes it easier still. Two for £15.95, Monday to Friday from 4 til 7. Stop in on the way home, settle in for the evening, or quietly turn it into both.
Quiz
Will is back on the mic with the Speed Quiz. Fast rounds, no hanging about, and a bar that stays busy from the first question to the last. Get a team together, or turn up and we will find you one. Free to enter. Prizes on the night. Booking is essential. Tables for the quiz go quickly, so book ahead through the website or call us and let a member of the team know you are booking for the Speed Quiz. That way we seat you in the right part of the room and hold your table for the start.
